Grove GMK5130-2 / GMK5165 Mobile Crane

The GMK5130-2 has a lifting capacity of 130 tonnes with a 60 meter, six section Twin-Lock boom. The optional inserts and swingaway jib increase the tip height up to  95 meters whilst the 8-cylinder Mercedes Benz OM502LA diesel engine generates 517hp and is coupled with a Daimler Chrysler G240-16 transmission to get the crane to the job site fast and efficiently. The 1:50th scale model reviewed here has accurately captured every aspect of this imposing crane.
